Pride with High Net Worth Summit’s Charity Gala Dinner

On 19th of June, Pride Foundation in partnership with High Net Worth Summit 2009 had organized a Charity Gala Dinner at Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The organizers had invited some of the town’s famous icon for example Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and his wife Tun Jeanne Abdullah as guest of honour. Besides that, Dato’ Michelle Yeoh the famous international super star and her fiance Datuk Jean Todt were in town to attend such a prestigious charity gala dinner. The dinner starts with introducing the host of the night, Paula Malai Ali and following by the speech of Mr. Tan Wei Ming, the project director of High Net Worth Summit 2009. After that, the dinner continues by the speeches by Datin Azrene Abdullah, the Chairman of Pride Foundation and Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the 5th Prime Minister of Malaysia.

One of the shows for the night was fashion cat walk by the survivors of Cancer and the youngest among them were 26 years old lady. The best show of the night will be tremendous performance by Peabo Bryson, two-time Grammy Award winner. He heated the crowd by singing few of his signature songs like A Whole New World from the Aladdin original soundtrack and Beauty and the Beast from the original sound track of Beauty and the Beast. Peabo even walk near to the crowd to sing along with them which is one climax of the show.
